Spraoí (pronounced Spree and meaning the same thing) are Toronto’s premiere Traditional Celtic ensemble. Based around the playing of New Zealander Pat Simmonds and Canadian piper Kelly Hood the band has evolved over the years to include several other musicians and collaborators from several different traditions including Cape Breton, Ireland and Scotland. Performing at the show with Pat and Kelly are regular Spraoí contributors Melanie James (guitar) and Grace Law (fiddle).
